Apple has officially announced that its annual Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) 2025 will be held between June 9 and June 13 this year. The event will take place at Apple's headquarters in Apple Park, Cupertino, California. It will open on June 9 at 9 am PT (10 pm IST) with an in-person keynote session by Apple CEO Tim Cook. The event will be live streamed online, allowing developers and tech enthusiasts around the world to watch it.
What will be special at WWDC 2025 : - At WWDC 2025, Apple will demo upcoming features and technologies for all its major platforms — iOS, iPadOS, visionOS, watchOS, tvOS, and macOS. The event will feature over 100 technical sessions where Apple experts will inform developers about new tools, frameworks, and updates. Developers will also be provided with guides and documentation covering the event's key announcements and updates.
Limited seats and application process : -Developers can apply to participate in the keynote session through the Apple Developer App or on Apple's website. Winners of Apple's Swift Student Challenge can also apply to attend the in-person event.
What can be launched at WWDC 2025 : - Apple has not confirmed any specific announcement yet, but it is expected that the company can announce its next major software updates at this event. iOS 19 and iPadOS 19 can be introduced with a completely new design, floating tab view, new icons, glass effects and visual elements that match the Vision Pro experience. Apart from this, updated versions of macOS 16, watchOS 12 and tvOS 19 can also be introduced.
