There is a great news for the youth preparing for government job in Bihar. State Health Society (SHS), Bihar has issued a notification for the recruitment of 2619 posts of AYUSH doctors. This recruitment includes posts for Ayurvedic, Homeopathic and Unani doctors. Interested and eligible candidates can apply online from today i.e. 26 May 2025. The last date for application is 15 June 2025 at 6 pm.
Under this recruitment drive, 2619 posts will be filled in the organization. The vacancy details are as follows:
AYUSH Doctor (Ayurvedic): 1411 posts
AYUSH Doctor (Homeopathic): 706 posts
AYUSH Doctor (Unani): 502 posts
Eligibility Criteria : - AYUSH Doctor (Ayurvedic): BAMS degree (Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery) from a recognized university included in the schedule of Central Council of Indian Medicine, New Delhi.
AYUSH Doctor (Homeopathic): BHMS degree (Bachelor of Homeopathy Medicine and Surgery) from a recognized university, which is included in the schedule of Central Homeopathic Council, New Delhi.
AYUSH Doctor (Unani) : - BUMS degree (Bachelor of Unani Medicine and Surgery) from a recognized university, which is included in the schedule of Central Council of Indian Medicine, New Delhi.
What should be the age : - The age of the applicant should be between 21 years to 37 years. For more information related to qualification and age limit, candidates can check the recruitment advertisement issued.
Selection Process : - The selection process will include a computer based examination, which will be of 100 marks. Candidates who qualify the CBT will have to appear for the document verification process.
Applicants will be selected on contract basis. The selected candidate will be given an honorarium of Rs 32000 per month. The number of posts may increase and decrease subject to the approval of the roster and organizational requirements of the Health Department.
