Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) has released the official notification for the recruitment of 403 vacant posts of Head Constable (General Duty) under sports quota. Under this campaign, eligible male and female sportspersons are invited to apply online through the official website of CISF https://cisfrectt.cisf.gov.in.
The process of online application for this recruitment will start from 18 May 2025 and will run till 6 June 2025 at 11:59 pm. The selected candidates will be appointed in Pay Level-4 (₹ 25,500 to ₹ 81,100), which will also include other allowances as per the rules of the Central Government. The aim of this initiative is to provide opportunities to meritorious sportspersons in government service.
Educational Qualification : - It is mandatory for the candidate to have passed class 12th from a recognized board. If the educational qualification is not from any state or central board, then it should be accompanied by a notification issued by the Government of India, in which that qualification has been recognized as equivalent.
Age Limit : - To join this recruitment, the age of the candidate should not be less than 18 years and not more than 23 years as on 1 August 2025. That is, the candidate should be born between 2 August 2002 to 1 August 2007. Reserved categories will get age relaxation as per government rules.
This is how the selection will be done : - The selection process will be completed in two phases. In the first phase, there will be sports trials and proficiency tests, in which the sports skills of the candidate will be evaluated. In the second phase, physical standard test (PST), document verification and finally medical test will be conducted. Only the successful candidates in all these stages will be included in the final selection list.
Height and chest standards : - Under CISF Recruitment 2025, some relaxation has been given in physical standards for candidates from hilly areas, Gorkha community and Scheduled Tribes. The minimum height for male candidates of these categories has been fixed at 160 cm, while for female candidates it is 153 cm.
Chest measurement (for male candidates only) : - For male candidates of these categories, the chest measurement must be 81 cm (uninflated) and 86 cm (inflated). This relaxation in physical standards is given keeping in mind the special circumstances and physical conditions of these communities.
