The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released the result of the recruitment examination conducted for the recruitment of Superintendent and Junior Assistant on 20 April. All the candidates who appeared in the said recruitment examination can check their result by visiting the official website cbse.gov.in.
The examination was conducted on 20 April 2025 for 70 vacancies of Junior Assistant and 142 of Superintendent, i.e. a total of 212 vacancies. The OMR-based examination was conducted successfully.
Exam was held on 20 April : - The CBAE Recruitment Exam Date for Junior Assistant, Superintendent posts was conducted on 20 April 2025. The examination for Junior Assistant (Group-C) was conducted in the morning shift and for Superintendent (Group-B) in the afternoon shift. The board has also released the result of this recruitment examination today, 10 May 2025.
The official result notice reads, "All the candidates who appeared in the recruitment examination conducted by the Board on 20th April 2025 are informed that the result of this examination has been declared. The scores of the candidates and the shortlisting status for Tier-2 Examination/Skill Test have been displayed in the application log-in of the candidates." The notice further reads, "Candidates are advised to visit the official website of CBSE at cbse.gov.in for further details in this regard."
Selection Process : -
The CBSE Superintendent Tier-1 exam was an objective type OMR based exam consisting of 150 MCQ type questions for a total of 450 marks. The duration of the exam was 2 hours.
3 marks were awarded for each correct answer and 1 mark was deducted for each wrong answer. The level of Tier 1 exam was Senior Secondary.
Based on the performance of the candidates in Tier-1/Tier-2 exam, candidates will be called for skill test. This exam is qualifying in nature and no marks will be counted for the final merit list.
