Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has issued a new notification for recruitment to various technical posts. A total of 84 posts will be filled under this recruitment drive, including Assistant Mining Engineer, Training Officer and other posts. Eligible candidates can apply till May 29, 2025. Interested candidates can apply by visiting the official website of UPSC (upsc.gov.in).
Eligibility Criteria : - Candidates applying for these posts should have an engineering degree like BE or B.Tech, ME or M.Tech. Apart from this, other equivalent educational qualification obtained from a recognized institute in the relevant field is also acceptable.
The minimum age for application is 35 years and maximum age is 55 years, but the age limit may vary for different posts. Therefore, candidates are required to carefully read the age limit conditions given in the official release of the respective post.
Application fee : - To join this recruitment, candidates have to pay Rs 25 as application fee, while female candidates, Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe and candidates with benchmark disability are exempted from fee payment.
Selection Process : - In the selection process, first of all, the candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of information given in the online application such as higher educational qualification, work experience or recruitment examination. After this, the shortlisted candidates will be interviewed personally, in which the minimum qualifying marks are 50 for UR / EWS, 45 for OBC and 40 (out of 100) for SC / ST / PwBD. If necessary, recruitment examination can also be conducted, in which the weightage of interview and examination will be 75:25 respectively.
