Indian Overseas Bank (IOB) has released a notification for the recruitment of Local Bank Officer posts for the year 2025. A total of 400 posts will be filled under this recruitment drive. Interested and eligible candidates can apply online from 12 May 2025.
Out of the total 400 posts released for Local Bank Officer (LBO) Recruitment 2025, 162 posts are reserved for the Unreserved (UR) category. Apart from this, 108 posts have been set aside for Other Backward Classes (OBC), 40 posts for Economically Weaker Sections (EWS), 60 posts for Scheduled Castes (SC) and 30 posts for Scheduled Tribes (ST).
Important Dates : - The online application process for the post of Steno Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) is being started by the Commission from 12th May 2025. Interested candidates can apply till 31st May 2025. This is also the last date to fill the form. The date of examination will be announced by the Commission later as per the schedule. The admit cards will be released on the official website a few days before the exam.
Application Fee : - The application fee for this recruitment has been fixed according to the category. The fee for candidates of General, OBC and EWS category is Rs 850, while for SC, ST and PH (Divyang) category it is Rs 175. The examination fee can be paid online only through debit card, credit card or net banking.
Educational Qualification and Age Limit : - Candidates must have a graduation degree in any stream from any recognized university in India. Talking about the age limit, the minimum age has been fixed at 20 years and the maximum at 30 years. Age relaxation for reserved categories will be given as per Indian Overseas Bank 2025 Local Bank Officer rules.
